When Katerina started grooming her very first miniature schnauzer in 1989, she had an old home made knife that she adored and lost somewhere. It looked like several she on the way, but it never had the same function. She wanted her old knife back and that started her on the journey developing striping knives. She decided to create the very old one - in a wood handle so it was comfortable and functional.

Since this was back in late 80s, the knife is kind of Retro and therefore we named it the RETRO EDITION.
